Dr. Anne C. M. Hyman holds a doctorate in Biomedical Sciences and is a certified USA Triathlon Level II coach in both Short and Long Course specialties, a certified USA Cycling Level III coach, and holds a NASM-CPT certification in personal training. It takes a lot of education and experience to be great at what she loves doing the most- helping people become the best version of themselves.
Some of Anne’s earliest memories are from the garden on the side of her childhood home, where she’d run through the rows of sugar snap peas and eat half of the harvest before it made its way to the dinner table, or help set trellis posts for new varieties of melons and cucumbers.
Anne played field hockey for fifteen years, from elementary school through college, and discovered her passion for endurance sports as a medium of stress relief in graduate school. It wasn’t before long before the competitive bug bit her- not to ascend the podium at races (though that would come later on), but to achieve a greater sense of balance and harmony in everything she did by pushing her own limits.
When the stars aligned, Anne made the decision to share her roadmap for her own successes with others, because of what running, cycling, triathlon and fitness had given to her. She has since trained individuals to achieve their own fitness goals, discover their inner athlete or excel as a champion. Anne has coached athletes to first distances and also to qualify and compete at National and World Championships.
Anne lives in Maryland , and tends to her four thousand square foot garden she lovingly calls her “small farm”.
